Brett Favre Persuasive Speech

For my speech i would like to gather some initial information from the class about your feelings on Brett Favre. I will not use your name nor take what you say to offense in anyway. I am just looking for a sentence or two that i can kind of base my speech around. Remember i am giving my speech that Brett Favre is not a traitor to the Green Bay Packers. My speech has nothing to do with his choice in continuing to play football, or any other career choices he has made. Just strictly towards the Green Bay Packers. If you guys could respond by wednesday that would be great. If you don't feel comfortable commenting on the blog you can write it on paper and leave it at the the table in the front of the class if you want.

    I know that this will probably not help you much but as far as I am concerned I know very little about the Bret Farve controversy. I knew that he played for the packers and was a really popular quarterback, but beyond that I dont follow sports or sports news closely enough to know what was going on with him. just be prepared that for your speech you might want to give some supplemental information so that those of us who dont follow sports can better understand what had happened.     In my opinion, Brett Favre played his best football while with the GB Packers. He posted better numbers and seemed, in my opinion, happier while a Packer. hope this helps you out!

    I think Brett is one of the best players of all time but I'm personally sick of him retiring then coming back into the game over and over again. On the opposite side of the spectrum, I'm really glad he did this year because I'm a Vikings fan!!

    I believe that Brett Farve is still one of the top 10 players today even at his age. However, he has shown that he is more easily hurt then he was in his days with the Packers. I believe that although he is still a great player, that he should seriously consider retiring and staying retired.
